Alcossebre
Alcossebre will have the first scuba diving park in Europe

The Baix
Maestrat coast is promoting diving tourism.
With its project for the creation of the first European scuba diving
park it will pioneer this experience on the continent. The sub aquatic complex will cover an area of
120,000 square metres and with have submerged craft.
This project aims
to develop the diving tourism which already exists in our province with the
Columbretes nature reserve.
One of the great
attractions of the park, situated between Alcossebre and Peñíscola, will be the presence of sunken craft, which the scuba divers will
be able to visit, whilst they will also serve to form an artificial reef,
improving the possibility for marine fauna and flora to be regenerated.
