Ancestral practices

Did you know that a large part of the area where we live was a long time ago an important Iberian settlement? In this settlement the Iberians produced potteries intended for domestic use!

Between the 6 th and 2nd centuries BC one finds interesting examples such as the Puig de la Nao and  the Tossa settlements (both located in the area of Benicarlo), and the Palau-Tossalet settlements and the Solivella necropolis (in the area of Alcalá-Alcossebre). They all nicely show the wealth that the Iberian people possessed.

In fact, it is now time to wake up from a long slumber and to take up on those ancient  traditions! My name is Oscar, I am a potter and I live in Alcossebre…really near from such settlements. One of my dreams is to show people the wonders of pottery and introduce them to this complex world of creative possibilities.

If you join me in this endeavor, we will play and investigate with the three elements: Earth, Water and Fire to shape our ideas and illusions. I invite you to discover this fantastic world through my experience in teaching different courses.
