Spectacular opera and operetta recital in Alcossebre

Alcossebre welcomed a spectacular lyric recital, organised by the Council, at which the audience enjoyed the most beautiful arias and duets from operas and Spanish operettas.

The trio of Consuelo Gómez, Máximo Zarzo and Berta Tubillejas, presented a concert of the best known works from the opera and operetta repertoire – including such popular titles as Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Verdi’s La Traviata, Puccini’s La Bohème,  the duet from La Africana by Fernández Caballero, Luisa Fernanda by the same composer and Chapí’s La Revoltosa, among other works.

It was a charity concert and the money collected was for the town’s food bank.
