Alcala de Xivert Council gives a cheque to the Local AECC Association
The money was collected during the Women’s Day Race

Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council and the Serra d’Irta Secondary School presented a cheque for 855 euros to the Local Association of the Fight against Cancer. This amount was collected in the “2nd Women’s Day Charity Race”, held on 5th March in Alcala de Xivert.
The presentation took place in the town offices and was attended by the Mayor Francisco Juan and Councillor María Agut, together with representatives from the school. Chairman of the local cancer association, Conchin Martí, received the cheque.
The event was organised by the Alcala-Alcossebre council with the Sierra d’Irta Secondary School and all the money collected was donated.
The councillors thanked the large number who took part and were delighted that all the town’s residents had thrown themselves wholeheartedly into the race as well as supporting the charity.
