Pavement repair work continues under the Alcala de Xivert Employment Plan
Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council is continuing to repair pavements in several streets in the town. This is being done as part of the work undertaken through the Employment Plan which is providing jobs for the townspeople.

At the beginning work was carried out in several streets in Alcala de Xivert, and now work is coming to an end in various sections of pavement in Las Fuentes in Alcossebre, such as the Avenida Cid and the Avenida de Las Fuentes among others.
As mayor Francisco Juan Mars stated, “the work being carried out is to improve the way for pedestrians” and he added that “many complete sections of pavement are being changed and made suitable for pedestrians, and widened to make it easier for people to go along them in both centres of the municipality”.
