Alcossebre Sailing Club starts its 2014 summer activities
To encourage sailing as an activity, 75% of the cost of the classes will be subsidised for residents in the town between the age of 10 and 18 years.
Together with the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council, the Alcossebre Sailing Club has once again started its activities both as a club and as a Sailing School.
Following the establishment of the Sailing School last year on the Cargador Beach, they are again offering different activities, all related to the world of sailing. They include dinghy sailing lessons, which will last a week; ‘introduction to sailing” day-long sessions and free open doors days.
New for this year, to encourage the sport among the town’s young people, 75% of the cost of the classes will be subsidised for residents between 10 and 18 years old.
As part of the Sailing Club’s activities, they will also be organising several regattas which will take place during weekends in July and August.
