The socialists of Alcalà-Alcossebre set the basic pillars of its municipal program
Lowering the local taxes, generating local employment and social policies are marking the Socialist nomination strategy

The Socialist candidacy of Alcalà-Alcossebre has already set its
program priorities, passing through lowering the local taxes "the
present tax rate is 0.99, touching the maximum permitted by law", as
pointed out by the socialist leader, Joan Ronchera. "The taxes had never
been so high, nor had financially suffocated the neighbours during the
worst social and economic crisis of recent times".
In addition, the Socialists of Alcalà-Alcossebre will drive a
comprehensive employment Plan. "Latest statistic figures are nearly 700
workers unemployed in our municipality", said Ronchera. Other measures
that he is already working on the extension of the system of social
politics, with "aid to families who are worse off", as well as attention
to "our elderly and disabled, reinforcement of training, public
education and improved health care".
The PSPV-PSOE of Alcalà-Alcossebre will include in its election
manifesto for the municipal elections in May a whole set of measures of
assistance to entrepreneurs and small local businesses, and a savings
plan "whereby spending of unnecessary expenses such as external
consultants, advertising, or excessive telephone cost", said Ronchera.
The electoral programme will include the vital public
infrastructure for the municipality and the direct management of some
public services that "today are employing companies from other towns".
Once the strategic lines are marked "it is time to listen to people
and groups to complete our program of Government, for that reason we
have launched the campaign of participation 'First LISTEN, then DO'",
said Ronchera.
