The Guardia Civil accuse a resident of Torreblanca of growing marijuana on a smallholding in Alcala de Xivert
The Guardia Civil has accused a person, a resident of Torreblanca, as the suspected perpetrator of a crime against public health (the Cultivation of Marijuana).
Their action started when the Guardia Civil were able to establish that there was a plantation of marijuana on a smallholding situated in the municipality of Alcala de Xivert.
In all there were 68 plants, about 90 cms tall, growing in an agricultural area, hidden between bushes and pines, in their respective plant pots.
Bags of soil and large plastic bottles were found in the plantation, as well as a spade and a liquid used to encourage the plants’ growth.
Finally the plants were confiscated and a 32-year old Spanish resident of Torreblanca was accused as the suspected perpetrator of a crime against public health (the growing of drugs).
The instituted proceedings were delivered to the Judge’s Court in Vinaros.
These actions were carried out by officers of the Alcala de Xivert Guardia Civil.
