The three people who received Training Grants from the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council start work
The three people who were awarded Training Grants by the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council, under the auspices of the Castellón Diputación Practical Training Programme, started their jobs on 15th December.
The aim of the grants was to train the students in practical application of what they had learnt during an academic course on care for the environment with experience through administrative tasks in the departments of the Alcala de Xivert Justice of the Peace, the Secretarial Area in the Alcossebre Auxiliary Office and in the Alcala de Xivert Council Offices.
Each grant provided 500.00 € per month which was jointly financed by the Castellón Diputación paying 80% and the local council the balance.
The mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, stated that “these grants are again a clear example of one of the priorities of our government, the creation of employment for the town’s residents”. He added “Also we are encouraging employment for young people and provide them with professional experience during their studies”.
