Approval is given for the investment of 62,298 euros for Alcala and Alcossebre through the Diputacion’s development plans
The work includes improvement to the pedestrian path in the camino L’Atall in Las Fuentes, the supply of furniture for the new CESAL in Alcossebre and surfacing the cami Canaret.

A full meeting of the Diputación Provincial has finally approved the 2016 Provincial Plan for Cooperation with Works and municipal Services. In the case of Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre, the investments total value of 62,298 euros is made up by 20,154 euros for the improvement of the pedestrian path along camino L’Atall in Las Fuentes in Alcossebre. This will involve the construction of a new pavement which will improve road safety in the area. The POYS also includes investment of 21,860 euros for surfacing the cami Canaret and 20,284 euros for the purchase of the furniture necessary to equip the new multipurpose CESAL in Alcossebre. Its construction continues to progress and it is hoped that it will be ready for use before the end of the year.
“The Diputación Provincial is ensuring that there are investments which improve facilities for the towns in Castellón through this plan for works and services. The aim of this type of works is to improve the towns’ surroundings and thus favour the residents’ quality of life”, the mayor, Francisco Juan stated. In the case of the three investments for Alcala-Alcossebre, “the construction of the pavement in the camino L’Atall in Las Fuentes will improve the environment and the safety of the many pedestrians who use this area, the camino Canaret, when surfaced, will also be safer and more convenient and, finally, the furniture for the CESAL completes an infrastructure which will give Alcossebre a new space for a very wide range of municipal and local associations’ activities”.
