The improvements to the third section of the calle Irta in Alcossebre are now being completed
The work has already been allocated to increase the width of the carriageway making it easier for traffic to transit

Alcala-Alcossebre Council has now awarded the project to widen the last section of the calle Irta in Alcossebre, which will complete the improvements to the length of the road. The work has been carried out in three sections and is providing a new route joining the Avenida Blásco Ibáñez to the access road. “This is to result in freeing the town centre of traffic and greatly improving the access and distribution of parking in the area”, the Mayor Francisco Juan said.
The work had a budget of 25,000 euros and resulted in the carriageway being widened to five metres, making it easier for traffic to pass along. It is hoped that the work will be finished shortly and will enable the Local Police to study the flow of traffic in the area with elements which may redistribute how the vehicles travel.
