The Passion will lead the programme for Holy Week in Alcala-Alcossebre
The religious acts will take place from the 23rd March until the 2nd April, starting with the procession of the Virgen de los Dolores

Once again, Alcala-Alcossebre will celebrate events dedicated to Holy Week beginning on Friday, 23rd March, with the mass and procession in honour of the Virgen de los Dolores. On Sunday 25th March, there will be the traditional blessing of the palms in Alcala and Alcossebre, with a mass and procession. On Maundy Thursday, 29th Mach, the commemoration of the Eucharist will be held in the Alcala parish church and the Holy Hour. On Good Friday, the Way of the Cross will be marked at 08:00 hrs, with a mass and the procession of the Holy Burial. For the fifth year running, “La Passió por la Trencà”, in which the last ten days of the life of Jesus Christ are recreated, organised by the Associació de Bombos i Tambors El Repiquet, will be held at 22:00 hours in the Alcala Church square. The religious acts will continue on Easter Saturday with the Vigilia Pascual in the church in Alcala, with the Resurrection on Easter Sunday and on Easter Monday with masses in the churches in Alcala and Alcossebre.
