Wholehearted support for Manos Unidas in Alcala

Once again, the ‘totxo’ fiesta brought the town’s residents together to show their support.
With the theme “Everyone has a right to good health”, the Alcala de Xivert NGO Manos Unidas again organised the ‘totxo’ or brick campaign, an original way of contributing charitably to collect funds, which was held in the town’s Plaza de la Iglesia.
The evening offered a great show with several live performances. The DJ Juanpe, Maverick, the Raices Andaluces flamenco group, the ‘Lo Xular’ Band of Dolçainers and the singer Nando Santos from Vinaros, who sang his new single, were just some of the names which brought life to the show.
All the money collected was for Manos Unidas, an NGO which has several projects to improve the living conditions of the disadvantaged.
