Social Services open the doors of their new offices in Alcossebre
They are situated at No.7 in calle Alcala de Xivert, Alcossebre, previously the exhibition hall, and are already in operation.

This facility enables the Alcala-Alcossebre Council’s Social Welfare Services (SEAFI, psychologist, social worker, cultural mediator, social educator) to use renovated offices, a multipurpose meeting room, reception, adapted toilets and a store room, now all based together in Alcossebre. The Social Welfare staff will divide their services between Alcala and Alcossebre with different opening hours, enabling them to attend to everyone who needs their services.
The renovation work to the former exhibition room was carried out through the Local Employment Plan.
The mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, was present at the open doors day with several members of the local executive, and pointed out that “we at the Council are making every effort and providing support by increasing and improving the town’s infrastructures with a clear aim: that residents can use them and be better looked after. These new offices are in addition to others we have provided during this legislature, such as the gymnasiums, the new Alcossebre CESAL and the new offices for the Local Police in Alcala”.
Now, right in the centre of Alcossebre, people have various municipal public services, centralised, to reduce travelling, for dealing with matters.
