13 bars and restaurants will be participating in the “Mussels Tapas Festival” to be held in Alcossebre during June
It is an initiative from the Friends of Good Food Association, with the cooperation of Alcalà-Alcossebre Council and the Alcala-Alcossebre Business Association

On Friday 24th May, the Mussels Tapas Festival was announced to be held in 13 bars and restaurants in Alcossebre during each weekend in June. It is the initiative of the Asociación Amigos del Buen Yantar with the cooperation of the Alcala-Alcossebre Council and the Asociación de Empresarios local. For the price of 2.50 euros you can enjoy a tapa and a drink. To ensure the success of the route, everyone who collects four stamps from four different establishments can participate in a draw for 15 vouchers of 10 euros each to be spent in the participating establishments.
The tapas, based on mussels, are marked out by their creativity and innovative proposals with original ingredients and preparations.
The organisers urge residents in Alcala-Alcossebre and throughout the province to “take advantage of this ‘route’ to find out about Alcossebre’s wide gastronomic offers.
The Council thanked the Asociación Amigos del Buen Yantar, the Asociación de Empresarios and the local catering sector “who are organising and taking part in occasions like this, to make our gastronomy an additional tourist attraction to those already in the town” Mayor Francisco Juan said.
