The exhibition opened on Saturday, 5th October, as part of the activities for the town-twinning of Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre with the French town of Forcalquier.
Renowned international artists are taking part in this exhibition of pictures and sculptures, such as painters Patrick Ciuti (Forcalquier), Mauro Capelli (Italy), Marjan Derksen (Holland), Bernardo Peruta (Italy), Christian Satin (Belgium), Taló (Spain) and sculptors such as André Englebert (Belgium) and Christine Remy (France).
Local authorities, with the mayor Francisco Juan Mars, at their head, as well as some of the artists taking part, were present for the opening of the exhibition, which can be visited from Monday to Saturday between 17.00 hours and 20.00 hours until 26th October.
This interesting exhibition displays works of different formats and styles, uniting physical artists from all over Europe as a symbol of the twinning of the two towns. Many of the originators of the works have permanent exhibitions in centres such as Milan, Holland and Belgium.
