The Alcala-Alcossebre Sustainable Mobility Town Plan goes on public exhibition
On 7th October, the DOCV published the start of the public information process for twenty days during which complaints can be put forward

The Valencian Community Official Diary (DOCV has published the Sustainable Town Mobility Plan (PMUS) for Alcala de Xivert for public information. For a period of twenty days, until the 6th November, the documentation can be consulted in the Alcala Council Technical Services, subject to prior appointment. The consultation has been adapted in a table of edicts and on the Alcala de Xivert Council Electronic Transparency Portal.
The PMUS, financed from municipal resources and the FEDER operative programme with European funds, is the instrument through which key questions will be planned, for the future of the municipality, such as roadway order, the increase of cycle/pedestrian areas, the promotion of the use of public transport and electric cars and the distribution of parking areas. During the preparation process, there was a wide process of citizen participation, with sector meetings, questionnaires and online forms to assist local residents put forward their proposals and reflect their customs regarding mobility.
Mayor Francisco Juan said that “our town’s needs with regard to mobility and boosting sustainable transport, have been gathered together in this plan. To develop it, we hope to be able to count on the participation of other administrations as they are already working on ambitious actions and development in the long term”.
