Alcala-Alcossebre Council is using part of the remaining funds in the treasury to resurface the camino Artola, investing 113,082 euros under the heading Sustainable Financial Investments.  The work started on 19th November and is planned to be completed in one week.  It will extend over 13,145 square metres, in sections, and will involve the application of a layer of reinforced asphalt to repair the potholes and degraded surfaces.  The start and the end of each section will be milled to facilitate a homogenous union with the road sections which had been repaired earlier in 2017 and which are in a good condition.

Mayor, Francisco Juan, said that “the camino Artola is an important access road to Capicorb and residents in this area have been asking us to repair it which we promised to do this year and now we have done it, investing the Council’s savings to add new actions which benefit all the residents”.
