Places offered in the Alcala de Xivert wardened home

The wardened home which is part of the ‘Infanta Elena’ Geriatric Centre in Alcala de Xivert is offering new residential places
The Council has prepared leaflets detailing the facilities of this centre for the elderly as part of an information campaign.
Francisco Juan, the mayor of Alcala, wanted to stress “the importance of the service offered by the wardened home which has been available in the town for many years”.  Juan also spoke of the good work the Alcala Asociacion de Jubilados carries out.  This is the organisation which manages the wardened home.
The Welfare department of the Council wanted to highlight “the great facilities offered by the wardened home in the Hogar del Jubilado and the peace which the Alcala locality offers for future residents”.
The information offered to those interested details the numerous facilities at the centre.  Rehabilitation rooms, cafe, sitting rooms, fully equipped bedrooms...
Retired people, over 65 years of age, or pensioners over 60 who have ceased active work due to incapacity or retirement and who are sufficiently independent, can request a place in the wardened home.  For further information, those interested can ring 964 41 11 64 or contact the Hogar del Jubilado offices, situated in the calle Sant Mateu.
