The Safety Department and Alcala-Alcossebre Local Police Headquarters are coordinating the increase of campaigns to make families aware of the importance of correctly using Child Retention Systems in vehicles. They are carrying out campaigns in areas close to Alcala and Alcossebre schools and Local Police officers are checking that the fathers and mothers transport their sons and daughters using the correct system for their needs and are giving them a guide to resolve their doubts regarding this.
Local Police Chief, Abel Serret, emphasised that “Our aim is not to hand out fines, but we are advising them that the campaign is being carried out for the systems to be used correctly”. Councillor Selene Blázquez said that “we must achieve this so that there are no complaints and that little children can travel in the safest way possible”.
