Registration for the Alcala de Xivert Book Club opens
The Club will start with a talk given by the author Ignacio Martínez de Pisón, on Friday, at 19.30h, in the Alcala Library

People interested in belonging to the new Alcala de Xivert Book Club can now register using the forms which can be obtained from Alcala Council, and the Alcossebre municipal offices. The Club sessions will begin from the 15th January at 18.00h in the Alcala Library and the first book they will read will be La Buena Reputación (The Good Reputation) by Ignacio Martínez de Pisón (2015 National Prize for Fiction). To be precise, the opening event for the Book Club will take place on Friday 13th December, at 19.30h in the Alcala Library, with a literary talk open to the public, given by Ignacio Martínez de Pisón who will speak on “The author, literature and its relationship with the reader through the writing”. Attending this talk is completely free, both for those interested in joining the Club and for those who are not.
Education councillor, Selene Blazquez, urged “all residents who love reading not to miss this opportunity of taking part in a Book Club which is going to be very interesting and enriching and will have the cooperation of an expert in cultural management and authors taking part”
