Meeting of the Local Security Committee held in Alcala de Xivert
David Barelles, the Castellón government deputy met the mayor Francisco Juan at a meeting called to deal with numerous interesting matters

Alcala de Xivert Council was the meeting place for the town Security Committee, a meeting which was attended by the Castellón Government deputy, David Barelles. Barelles chaired the meeting with the Alcala mayor Francisco Juan.
During the meeting which was attended by representatives of the State Security Forces, the Guardia Civil and the Local Police, they touched on various matters relating to the coordination of the police forces with regard to citizens’ security.
Both Barelles and Juan underlined the importance of “cooperation between police forces to maximise efficiency, so that people’s security could be guaranteed at all times and to give a better service”.
They also studied citizens’ cooperation. The deputy stressed the need to “report suspected problems as a necessary preventive measure to contribute to the solving of crimes”. Similarly, Francisco Juan reminded that, among the arrangements to put cooperation into practice, people can make telephone calls to 062 or the Alcala de Xivert Local Police. “That’s where to give an account of any type of crime or public disorder”, he explained.
