Local businesses and Alcala-Alcossebre municipal resources are being added to the SICTED awards for Tourism Quality
On Tuesday 28th January, there is an information meeting for new businesses interested in counting on this integral quality system

Alcala-Alcossebre continues adding local businesses and municipal resources to the list of those recognised with the SICTED awards – Integral Tourist Quality System at Destinations. The latest qualify for these awards were Albert Villas, Airmar, Casa Azahar, Nova Romana Park and Ribamar campsite. The Moro and Mañetes beaches have also obtained the award, joining the Las Fuentes, Cargador and Romana beaches which had previously done so. The Council Tourism Department has carried out continuous training to introduce the SICTED system which supports improving quality, through an integral management system implanted in the business model, customer service, etc. The awards presentation ceremony will be held soon, and will join those already awarded in 2018, making a total of 16 businesses and services awarded in the second year of the Alcala-de Xivert-Alcossebre tourist destination project.
This year, 2020, there are already seven new businesses signed up to the project. Aiming to continue adding new businesses interested in joining this quality system, an informative meeting will be held on 28th January in the Alcossebre Municipal Offices, with two sessions at 10am and 12 noon.
Tourism councillor, Selene Blázquez, has urged all the businesses and services related to tourism in the municipality to “join this initiative, so that the Tourist Department can provide them with all the facilities and access the training needed to introduce this integral management system”.
