Alcala De Xivert-Alcossebre PSPV-PSOE condemns the dirty state of the municipality

Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre PSPV-PSOE condemns the dirty state of the town and considers that the state of the bins themselves is a clear indication that the cleaning service is damaging.
The municipal socialist group explains that the cost of the cleaning service is up to a million euros a year, “the highest amount for a contracted service in the municipality but, in spite of this cost, the state of cleanliness of the town is poor”. Joan Ronchera, the socialist spokesperson affirms.
Ronchera also says that the evaluation of all residents regarding this is “negative”, as is reflected in the survey which was carried out through social networks. “Particularly there is unease with the dirty state of the bins. A fact which we have already denounced in a council meeting”, the PSPV-PSOE councillor affirmed.
The Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre socialists also consider that the cleaning service contract “is damaging”, since in a clause it says that “the winner of the contract is obliged to carry out the cleaning and disinfection of all the bins with a frequency which, in spite of whatever was found spilt inside, always left them impeccably clean”.
