Alcala-Alcossebre Council has made available various special services aiming to assist those residents, whilst the emergency lasts, but they must continue to observe the recommendation to stay at home.
Delivery of Foods and Medicines
Disabled residents or those with at risk illnesses who cannot go out and have no family collaboration, can count on a home delivery service for basic foods and medicines. They should phone 964 41 03 01, from Monday to Friday between 09.00h and 14.00h and 964 41 00 00 for the rest of the day and weekends and holidays. The Asociación de Recursos Sanitarios Azahar, through its network of volunteers, will be engaged to provide this service.
Psychological Attention
There is also a telephone line for those requiring psychological attention and emotional support, which will be provided by psychologists from the municipal Social Services. Calling 660 100 218, those residents who need it will be able to receive personalised attention on how to adequately manage the situation in which they are living (such as informing children appropriately, guidelines on how to manage the feeling of anxiety and/or fear, how to establish routines to face the time in isolation, etc.). Those people who find themselves in a vulnerable, abandoned or neglected situation as a result of the isolation imposed because of the Covid-19 epidemic, in particular: the elderly, people who live alone, people with functional diversity or are disabled, etc. and who need psychological attention.
Technical Support for the Electronic Administration of Municipal Management
With the closure of the live Registro and the suspension of attention to the public in the Council and Municipal Offices, a telephone line has been set up 626 018 158 to attend to people who may be carrying out their processes with the digital certificate, electronic DNI or the CLAVE System, via the Municipal Electronic Hub https://alcaladexivert.sedelectronica.es. This telephone number will be available for people who have to make telematic processes and are not used to doing it. It will be available from Monday to Friday, 09.00h to 14.00h. Advice can also be sought through WhatsApp.
Mayor Francisco Juan emphasised that “we are in an exceptional situation and the measures have to be exceptional. Therefore, the Council is putting everything within our reach to assist our residents at this time when we must follow the medical recommendations and go to people’s homes as infrequently as possible”.
