Alcala-Alcossebre Council has requested Castellón Diputación to work on setting up a training programme for offering different resources to companies in the province, in particular for the commercial and tourism sectors, so that they can face the adaptation of their businesses to the regulations demanded by COVID-19 with guarantees. In a letter from Mayor Francisco Juan to the Diputación president, José Martí, he urged that “using the facilities of the Diputación, the programme could be participated in by agents and bodies at a provincial level – both businesses and educational – to bring together the necessary contents so that both the businessmen and their staff can improve their capacity and preparation in the new situation driven by COVID-19”. These courses could start already online and, when the health conditions permit it, pass on to training in person.
The training should be focussed on both supporting businesses in the vicinity so that they can incorporate tools to visualise and distribute their offer and in guiding the great quantity of businesses linked to the hostelry and tourism sector which also require training on everything on applying the regulations linked to safety and hygiene, such as capacity controls, disinfection, etc.
The Mayor of Alcala-Alcossebre urges that what “the institutions need, involves us to the maximum in offering companies all the tools possible to go forward”.
