More streets in Alcossebre can now apply for assistance to refurbish the façades
It is a measure being taken within the actions promoting recuperation in the local economy following the impact of the crisis caused by COVID-19
Alcala-Alcossebre Council’s meeting approved a modification to the byelaw regulating financial aid for the refurbishments of façades in the old part of Alcala de Xivert to include a series of streets in Alcossebre which will be able to apply for the maximum quantity contemplated in this assistance. In an earlier meeting, increasing the financial amount for this assistance had been approved. Previously the homes located in the old part could choose assistance up to a maximum of 3,000 euros and now they can choose up to 4,000 euros. In the case of homes outside the old part, they could choose a maximum of 2,000 euros and now they can ask for up to 3,000 euros.
The new streets included are Rench, Barquer, camí L’Atall from nº1 to nº23, plaza Vistalegre from nº1 to nº25, Misionero Grau, calle Alcalà from Vista Alegre up to calle Rench, La Timba, plaza Constitución, Santa Lucía, Romeral, calle Ausiàs March from calle Romeral to calle Colón, calle Na Violant d’Hongria from calle Rench to calle Irta, Sant Benet and Vistabella. The measure was published on the 30th May in the Provincial Official Bulletin and will remain on public exhibition for 30 working days, during which period it will be possible to make complaints and suggestions.
“With this measure, on one hand the aim is to favour the improvement of the external image of homes in both town centres and, on the other, for local plans to be able to benefit from an increase in work related to this type of work”, Mayor Francisco Juan pointed out.
