The three COVID-19 assistants taken on by Alcala-Alcossebre Council under the XXXIII Local Employment Plan, have started their work spreading the preventive measures set up to fight the COVID-19 infection. In fact, these three people are in the pedestrian areas of Alcossebre, both on the sea front and in those areas which are pedestrianised from 13.00h, to explain to passers-by aspects of the changes in direction, where the car parks are, what measures must be adopted to respect safe distancing or which routes they have to follow through the different pedestrian spaces. These assistants are working from Monday to Sunday, from 8.00h to 15.00h and wear a uniform so that they are easily identifiable. During the evening, staff from the Tourist Office will be in several places providing information to about the routes, changes in where they can go, etc. whilst on the beaches 14 COVID-19 agents from the Valencian Generalitat are telling users about the advice to follow.
Police and Tourism councillor, Selene Blázquez, explained that “our aim is to provide maximum information for people in our municipality and appeal to their responsibility so that they comply with all the regulations for everyone’s safety”.
