Positive result for the Alcala-Alcossebre Summer School
Last week, the Alcala-Alcossebre Council Education Department Summer School service ended. It had been held during the month of July and the first fortnight of August, with a total of 143 boys and girls. They had sports, water and dance activities, trips to the countryside and handcrafts or workshops, among others. The service was provided following all the safety measures, adapting these activities and the spaces to the extraordinary situation brought about by Covid-19, so that outside activities and smaller groups predominated.
Education councillor, Selene Blázquez, said that “we always give this service a positive evaluation and more-so in this year’s special circumstances, given that besides being adapted to all the health standards required from Councils to provide this service, it has been possible to continue supporting family wellbeing during the summer season”
