Alcala-Alcossebre Council starts a new Employment Plan

Four posts for home help auxiliaries and a home assistant

Through its 24th Employment Plan, Alcala-Alcossebre Council will contract four unemployed people to carry out the tasks for three home help auxiliaries and one home assistant.  The four contracts will last for 12 months, with three full time days (36.35 hours) and one part time (29 hours).  The post of home help is planned to continue strengthening and improving the service for disabled or elderly people dependent on the cooperation with municipal workers charged with the service to attend to their domestic, personal and support needs.  The home assistant will carry out functions to accompany non-dependent elderly people should they have to make medical trips, supervising their medication and providing company, among other functions.

Those interested should present their requests to the general register of Alcala de Xivert Council on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th September and should be registered with SERVEF.  The basis and documents required can be found and downloaded on the Electronic Page, on the municipal web.

As in all the consecutive Employment Plans drawn up by the Alcala-Alcossebre Council, “our objective is to facilitate access to employment for people who have no work and, at the same time, who can develop a work occupation which will benefit the municipality and which, in this case, is to look after our residents who need special support”, Mayor Francisco Juan emphasised.

On the other hand, the Council has also offered a grant to improve unemployed people’s employability and who count on regulated training to carry out administrative tasks.  The grant is for 950 euros brut per month with a working week of 36.25 hours and a contract for six months.  To qualify you must have a title corresponding to the Bachiller (‘A’ Level), Higher Level Administration and Finance Training Course in Management Assistance or equivalent.

Requests must be made on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd September on the Council’s Register and the basis and documents required can be found and downloaded from the Electronic Base on the municipal web site.
