Alcala-Alcossebre Council collects proposals for the 2021 budgets from its citizens

This year again, Alcala-Alcossebre Council opens the preparation of the municipal budgets to participation by its citizens.  Men and women will be able to make their proposals by placing a form with their proposal for investment, in the voting boxes installed in the Alcala Council registry and in the Alcossebre Municipal Offices.  Another option is to download the form on the municipal website and send it via email to participa@alcaladexivert.es

Every proposal received will be studied by the municipal technicians to confirm their viability and to evaluate them financially.  Those which are considered most viable and positive for the municipality will be able to be included in the 2021 budgets.  The 30^th October is the final date for delivering the forms.  On the part of the government, participation will also be open to municipal groups inviting them in writing to present their proposals.  The Treasury head, María Agut, has invited men and women to “tell us what are their priorities and what type of projects and investments would be most necessary and interesting for them”.

“Opening participation to our citizens helps us establish priorities and learn what projects and investments are most interesting and necessary.  The 2021 budget is going to be marked by the health situation and its negative financial consequences but, as always, we will try to cover our residents needs and collect positive proposals for the municipality”, Mayor Francisco Juan explained.
