Alcossebre beaches were all full this weekend

During the weekend of 21st and 22nd July, Alcossebre beaches were absolutely full, as can be seen in the accompanying photo.  A huge number of tourists had chosen the Alcala de Xivert coast as their holiday destination, and the number was increased by many residents from neighbouring places and from inland in the province.  This weekend they had come to enjoy the Alcossebre beaches which this year have obtained eight Qualitur Flags and six Blue flags.
Figures for occupation this summer are very positive, with an increase of 4% over the 2011 figures for the first two weeks of July.
