Work has just begun on the first phase of this project, which will be completed this year, with a final budget of 241,600 euros.
Local mayor,
Francisco Juan Mars, stated that “the
governing team in Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre, is continuing to support
people. This time, we are taking
measures for our older people with the construction of this physiotherapy
Spa-Gymnasium in the Alcala Pensioners’ Centre”.
It will be
financed with funding from the council itself as well as the Castellón
Diputacion Provincial. The President of
the Diputacion Provincial, Javier Moliner, informed the President and committee
of the Alcala de Xivert Pensioners’ Association.
Francisco Juan
Mars explained that “We are very
satisfied in the council and the pensioners association because this work will
be a step forward in improving the services we can offer our elderly”.
The council
leader also emphasised the fact that the work is being awarded to a local
company “I also want to point out that we
are continuing to award all works to local companies to help our businesses in
these very difficult times and create employment”.
