The Alcala de Xivert Santa Cecilia Music Association gives a Concert in the Peñíscola Congress Hall
The Alcala de
Xivert Santa Cecilia Band is preparing a concert on Sunday, 27th
January at 12.00hours in the Peñíscola Congress Hall.
This concert is
within the musical programme “Les Bandes
al Palau”.
With maestro
Juan Serra Ferrando directing the group, they will play well known pieces such
as a selection of the musical Jesus Christ superstar, the overture to Orpheus
in the Underworld by Jacques Offenbach and Moment for Morricone, homage to that
great western music composer, composed by Johan de Meij.
There will of
course be pasodobles, zarzuela, Dance Apache.
The Association
urges the public to attend to hear the results of their rehearsals, education the
variety of the band’s music, and above all to enjoy good company and good
music.
