Alcossebre Residents took part in the Blood Donor Marathon during Health Week
On 6th June, during Health Week held in Alcala-Alcossebre, there was a Blood Donor Marathon in the Alcossebre Health Centre.
During the day, a total of 21 people went along to the Medical centre, many of them being regular donors.
Maria Agut, Health Councillor on Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council, was present and saw at first hand the large number of donors. “Alcala has always been outstanding for its large number of donors, but Alcossebre has not done so well. By including the donor day in the health week, it has meant that more people knew about it and more have come” María Agut said.
Health Week had had a full programme of talks and workshops, and came to an end on 8th June with a Health Walk which left the Plaza Vista Alegre at 09.00h.
