Pensioners from La Llosa visit Alcala and Alcossebre
About 50
pensioners from La Llosa visited Alcala de Xivert and Alcossebre on Saturday,
15th June, on a trip which was coordinated by the Castellón
Diputación and the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council.
The pensioners
were accompanied by Councillor Desam Pitarch and deputy Ester Pallardó and
visited the principal delightful heritage spots like the Parish Church and the
Bell Tower, visiting the museum and admiring the enormous drum.
Some of them
were brave enough to go up the Bell Tower to enjoy the view over the town.
The next stop
was Alcossebre, to see the marina and the San Antonio chapel among other
places. The La Llosa pensioners’ visit
ended with a meal in the Pensioners’ Hall, bingo and dancing.
It is hoped that
at some future date pensioners from Alcala-Alcossebre will visit La Llosa.
