“Fashion in Alcossebre” – the Second Sea-front Fashion Show promises to be a great display with lots of surprises
The Plaza Vista Alegre in Alcossebre will once again be the back-drop
for local fashion when the II Pasarela de Moda Frente al Mar “Alcossebre es
moda” is held on Saturday, 6th
July at 20:00h.
The organisers have said that they want to
introduce improvements to the event this year, among
which is the construction of a raised catwalk, so that everyone can see the
parade better, as well as a bigger set-up, with more chairs than the 200 there
were last year, so that they can seat about 500 people to enjoy the show.
There will also be two attendants to show people to their places.
There will be twice the number of professional models, with 12
instead of 6, as well as all those chosen during the ‘casting’ sessions for all
ages which will take place on 2nd July in Alcala de Xivert, in the
Plaza Ricardo Cardona (The Market Square) at 10:00h and in Alcossebre in the
Plaza Vista Alegre (in front of the Tourist Office) at 12:30h.
Fiestas Councillor, Pascual Herrera Sancho, explained that “this
year we have a great professional organising the event, Isaac Estévez, who is
well known in Castellón, and is the director of “One Agency”, the models agency”.
The lighting and sound will be doubled, to make it a great display,
and the finishing touch will be the live performance of a surprise artist.
The mayor of Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre, Francisco Juan Mars, spoke
of the great support from local shops “they are nearly all going to take part
in the fashion parade. One of our aims is
to put new energy into local trade which we have been trying to do in the
Council now for two years”.
To give all the information about the participating shops, as well
as the official commentary, an attendant will have discount vouchers and
promotions on the event stand.
The decoration, completely natural, will be in the hands of local
business Viveros Alcossebre, who will put on a great display around the Plaza
Vista Alegre.
