The Council has finished resurfacing the Las Fuentes road
Continuing road improvements in the municipality, the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council has resurfaced the Las Fuentes road.
The improvements to one of the main access roads into Las Fuentes in Alcossebre, included tarmacking and painting all the road markings. The road has now re-opened.
The total cost of the work was 93,000 Euros, of which 11,000 Euros were a grant from the Castellón Diputación’s provincial plans and the balance from the Council’s own funds.
The local council has emphasised the great effort they are making to repair and improve the roads in the town centres and in rural areas. They are also working on plans to open a new road from the Plaza de La Mola to the road in and out of the centre of Alcossebre, which will improve traffic circulation in the coastal town.
