Final stage for tenders for the new Alcossebre Road

In the next few days, the Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council will finalise the tender processes for the new road which will be opened in Alcossebre and which according to the Mayor, Francisco Juan Mars’, statement, “is considered as extremely necessary, as it will bypass the centre of Alcossebre, reorganise traffic and relieve traffic congestion in the town centre”.
Town Planning Councillor, Jose Colom, reported that “in a few weeks the work will be awarded and we hope that within four months it will be possible to open the new road to traffic”.
There is a budget of 300,000 euros for the work, which will be funded from the Council’s own coffers and will consist of extending the Avenida Castelló so that it unites the Las Fuentes road with the road leading to the centre of Alcossebre.
