Alcala-Alcossebre Council intensifies beach cleaning and preparation of the facilities

From last week, Alcala-Alcossebre Council has increased the maintenance and cleaning of all the municipality’s beaches and the coastal path so that everything is perfect for the holidays with the large number of visiting tourists.  The tasks included all preparing accesses to the beaches, waste bins being put in place and the showers are working.

Also the beaches have been kept in very good order during the winter thanks to the maintenance work carried out from time to time by the Council.

In addition, five beaches in the municipality have been awarded the blue flag, as well as the coastal path and all the quality reports always receive maximum points.

As the Mayor Francisco Juan Mars stated, “The Council considers the beaches to be the municipality’s principal wealth and they give us our identity, therefore work is constant so that all the tourists who visit us at this time can enjoy our wonderful beaches”.
