Torreblanca announces its walking routes
This will be a tourist attraction in addition to that of sun and sea.
Torreblanca
Council, through its Tourism Department led by José Antonio López, is immersed
in starting a series of walking routes through the principal parts of the
municipality. According to the
councillor, José Antonio López, “thanks to the collaboration of a local
association, we are investigating different routes and we will have all the
materials to signpost them very soon”.
Following the
guidelines of this Torreblanca body, the Tourist Departments is initially marking
out the first four routes, but does not rule out that there may be more in
future. “The association is undertaking
to sign and mark the routes and the Council will edit the information leaflets
and put up the corresponding posters so that everyone will be able to find out
about the places the routes pass through”, the Tourism councillor explained.
This idea will
provide another tourist attraction besides the sun and beach in Torreblanca, as
in recent years environmental tourism has been gaining more followers. “We are increasing our attractions for
tourists and hope that more will come and that we will be much more competitive
with our neighbouring towns. We will be
able to offer tourists not just sun, the beach and golf, but these routes, and
we must also mention the mountain bike routes which have proved very
successful”, the Torreblanca Tourism Councillor added.
