This week Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council has started work to prepare the terrace at the Alcossebre Pensioners Hall. It is a task aiming to make better use of the building’s terrace, where the Alcossebre Sant Benet Pensioners Association is based, so that users can access it to use it as a rest and meeting place. Seats are being installed to create a ‘chill-out’ area making it possible to use this open space.
The mayor, Francisco Juan Mars, stated that “this work on a rest and leisure area for users of the Pensioners Hall is one example of the promise we made to the group of older people, both in Alcala de Xivert and Alcossebre. Our priority was to provide areas suitable for their activities and thus improve their living conditions”.
