Saturday, 30th August 2014, was ‘open doors’ day for Alcala residents to get to know their new Social-Cultural Hall built by the Council next to the town’s sports hall.
Hundreds of visitors took advantage of the morning to view the facilities, where the mayor himself, Francisco Juan Mars, explained all the services which will be available for their use when it is opened.
The building area is over 1,000 sq. metres, with fully equipped baths, bars and a space separated from the main hall for holding smaller events needing less space.
Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council has invested 800,000 euros from its own funds for the construction of the building, which also has ample parking facilities, with space for over 150 vehicles.
