José Redorat and Francisco Juan meet in Alcala de Xivert
The Secretary General of the FVMP confirmed that the town will be included in projects to create employment
The Mayor of Alcala de Xivert, Francisco Juan and José Antonio Redorat, secretary general of the Valencian Federation of Towns and Provinces, held a meeting on 4th March at the council offices to tackle various current matters and to continue the close collaboration which the Council maintains with this body, through periodic meetings.
Juan asked Redorat to “keep the town in mind for all the initiatives, studies and projects which may be carried out under the heading of ‘creating employment’.
Responding to this request, the FVMPT secretary general gave his assurance that “Alcala de Xivert will be kept in mind for future European projects which may present themselves. Projects which could pursue the creation of direct and indirect employment”.
The mayor also expressed his particular concern for the precarious situation for youth employment. “We hope that those projects which are currently on the table will bring solutions for the young people”, he emphasised.
