Alcala de Xivert/Alcossebre
Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Council is organising a course for the use of the defibrillator and basic life support
The Council is organising a new training course on the use of the automatic external defibrillator (DESA), as well as Basic Life Support. It is constantly becoming of greater importance for people to have this type of knowledge, a training which is linked to the financial efforts made by the council to provide defibrillators in different public facilities, such as the football pitches, the Pensioners’ Halls, the Municipal Multisports Centre, and that is why this course is being provided so that users know how the equipment works should a medical emergency arise.
The course is accredited by Semicyur, the RCP National Plan, and will take 8 hours at a cost of 75€. In Alcala de Xivert the course will take place on 30th January and in Alcossebre on the 27th February.
