The PSOE proposes that there should be a bylaw regarding the use of paving in public places
At the last council meeting, Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Socialist Group proposed the approval of standard regulations for the use of paving. There are two reasons for this: “on the one hand, to harmonise the development of our town, maintaining coherence throughout the town; and on the other hand, to encourage the use of ceramics both in public spaces and municipal buildings, as this is a strategic sector of our province”.
According to socialist sources, this bylaw would be drawn up with a catalogue specifying the product to be used on pavements, in passages and in pedestrianised areas on the sea front. A regulation which by and large and long term would make our town environment more harmonised.
The PSOE awaits the response of the governing group, but understands that it will be favourable, as support for the ceramics industry is recognised, as has recently been seen in the plaza Vista Alegre.
