The Third Christmas Fair will be held in Alcala de Xivert on Saturday and Sunday, 10th and 11th December
There will be more than 50 stalls with Christmas decorations, crafts, typical products such as the “Pastes de Sempre”, and an exhibition of old-fashioned toys, events and live music.
The Ricardo Cardona square in Alcala de Xivert will be decorated for Christmas during the weekend of 10th and 11th December for the Third Christmas Fair, organised by the Business Department, like typical Christmas markets in central Europe. With about 50 stalls, of which the majority are local, there will be a wide selection of Christmas decorations, crafts, textile products, Christmas nougats and sweets. This year there will also be a special stall for “Pastes de Sempre” (traditional local cakes and pastries), an organisation which was set up by the Council and the Alcala-Alcossebre Business Association, with local bakeries offering traditional local pastries, cakes and biscuits.
In addition to the business offers, there will be events for all ages including the arrival of Father Christmas, live music, street theatre and storytelling. You can also visit an exhibition of old fashioned toys. Fiestas and Business councillor, Pascual Herrera, explained that “we are going to transform the Ricardo Cardona square into a scene based on the magic of Christmas, with special decorations and workshops and events for the whole family”.
