Wonderful result for Alcossebre Players

The Alcossebre Players have recently completes their latest production, a two part programme. The first half was the debut performance of ‘The Golden Girls’ (Alcossebre’s mature movers) followed by an hilarious one act play. After each of the two performances a collection was taken in aid of the work carried out by the local Red Cross for needy families in the Alcala/Alcossebre area.. The generous donations of the audience were added to the group’s profits from the show and on Wednesday 28th March a cheque for a1,000 € was presented to the President of local Red Cross branch José Vincente Vinuesa Barceló. A big thank you to everyone involved in raising this sum, the members of the group and the local audiences.
