Marketing Alcala-Alcossebre increases in tourist packages
The municipality now appears as a tourist destination in the Trovalia tour operator brochures.

The Alcala-Alcossebre Council Tourist Department is expanding coverage for the municipality as a tourist destination by marketing it in different ways. As part of this, the locality is being added to the Trovalia tourist package. Trovalia is a tour operator with its headquarters in Valencia, operating a reception area in Castellon airport and marketing via the internet.
Following various meetings held with the Tourism Councillor, Alejandra Roca, and making available to the tour operator all the material needed to plan activities, visits, guided trips, etc., Alcala-Alcossebre now appears in the 2017 brochures and in the internet offer.
Alcala-Alcossebre appears in the brochure under the heading “Two destinations, one municipality” and, through the pictures and supplementary information, it stresses the fact that the locality offers various family tourist experiences, the countryside, history and culture, activities and gastronomy. The locality is also included in a combined package holiday together with other places in the province such as Vall d’Uixo. In the section dedicated to Accommodation various hotel facilities and apartments in the area are also included.
The Tourism Councillor, Alejandra Roca, said that “it is very important that we appear as a municipality but also that the local businesses contribute to the marketing of accommodation. By uniting our potential regarding the environment, activities and patrimonial wealth with the hotel and residential facilities, we make ourselves more potent as a destination and, for this reason, we shall continue working towards this”, she said.
