The Guardia Civil arrest two people for robberies in apartments and a gym in Alcossebre
The Guardia Civil arrested two males suspected of three robberies with force. The operation started because the Guardia Civil has a well established service for combating robberies and thefts in homes and public places and when the officers learned that a robbery was being committed in an urbanisation in Alcossebre they were able to respond quickly.
Immediately the officers went to the place, surprising one male forcing the door of one of the apartments, and then, after identifying him and carrying out several checks, they proved that the previous week he had stolen a sports treadmill.
Following their intelligence, the Guardia Civil officers found out that the person they had identified, together with one other, had committed two robberies in apartments and robbed a gym in the same urbanisation the previous week, and found the tools used to carry out the crimes.
After all this, they arrested two males aged 43 and 26 as the suspects in the three robberies with force. The three forced locks were recovered and the running treadmill was returned to its legitimate owner.
The information report was taken to the Juzgado de Instrucción número 1° in Vinaros. It was carried out by members of the Alcala de Xivert Guardia Civil.
